New IYT Certification Pathways Launch in the UAE

International Yacht Training Worldwide has announced an updated certification pathway, now available through accredited academies in the UAE.

The revised structure provides clearer progression from entry-level Introduction to Boating through Bareboat Skipper, Yachtmaster Offshore and finally Master of Yachts.

UAE-based academies will offer both practical and theory modules locally, reducing the need for crew to travel abroad for top-level certifications.

This is particularly welcome news for the growing pool of regional crew transitioning from charter operations to long-range superyachts.
