What does Solas Security do?+
We're a practitioner-led cybersecurity and AI governance company in Dubai. We build two products — Solas Academy (security awareness training and certification) and the Solas AI Governance Command Center (AI discovery, governance and enforcement) — for regulated and maritime/OT organisations.
Do you cover maritime and OT environments?+
Yes — maritime and industrial OT is a founding strength, through our equal partnership with Solverminds. We secure the systems behind vessels and shore operations, rather than extending a generic security service into an industry we don't know.
What is the AI Governance Command Center?+
It discovers the AI in your environment (including shadow AI), governs it against frameworks like NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001, and enforces policy — with a tamper-evident, hash-chained audit trail. Self-hosted, so you run it on your own infrastructure and hold your own data.
Which standards and regulations do you work to?+
We map to UAE PDPL, EU AI Act applicability, ISO 27001, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and maritime/OT standards such as IEC 62443. We help you align to these frameworks; we don't claim certifications on your behalf.
Who do you work with?+
Regulated mid-market and enterprise organisations of 50+ employees across the GCC and wider Middle East and Asia. Both products are currently in design-partner pilots.
